Política de privacidad

En corto: tu partida se guarda en tu teléfono. Cuando navegas en el mar abierto o en la arena, nuestro servidor recibe tu identificador anónimo, tu nombre de capitán y lo que haces en el mar, solo para que el juego funcione. No hay cuentas con correo, ni publicidad, ni rastreo, ni compras dentro de la app.

Qué datos recogemos

Al jugar en el mar abierto o en la arena, que comparten jugadores, se envían a nuestro servidor de juego:

el identificador anónimo de tu partida (un código al azar creado en tu teléfono; no está ligado a tu nombre real, a tu correo ni a tu Apple ID);
tu nombre de capitán, que ven los demás jugadores;
lo necesario para jugar juntos: la posición y el estado de tu barco, lo que haces en el mar y tu puntuación de la arena;
las denuncias que hagas o recibas (quién, a quién y por qué), para poder moderar.

Si navegas sin conexión no se envía nada. No usamos herramientas de analítica, de publicidad ni de informes de errores de terceros.

Para qué y cuánto tiempo

Esos datos se usan solo para que el juego funcione y para mantenerlo limpio de trampas y abusos: no se venden, no se usan para publicidad y no se comparten con terceros. El servidor está en Hetzner (Alemania, Unión Europea). Los registros del servidor guardan la dirección IP recortada (sin su última parte) y se borran a los 14 días. La puntuación de la arena y las denuncias se guardan mientras el juego esté activo, ligadas solo al identificador anónimo.

Qué se guarda en tu teléfono

Para que puedas seguir donde lo dejaste, el juego guarda en el almacenamiento privado de la app:

tu partida: barco, carga, mejoras, progreso de la historia, peces pescados y aspecto de tu barco;
el nombre de capitán que elijas al entrar como invitado;
tus ajustes (sonido, calidad gráfica…);
un identificador anónimo generado al azar en tu teléfono, que se envía al servidor solo al jugar en el mar abierto o la arena.

Si borras la partida (Ajustes › Borrar partida) o la app, se borra todo esto de tu teléfono y lo que quede en el servidor ya no se puede ligar a ti. Si quieres que borremos también tu puntuación y tus denuncias del servidor, escríbenos al correo de abajo con tu nombre de capitán y lo haremos. Si tienes activadas las copias de seguridad de iCloud, iOS puede incluir estos archivos en tu copia, como hace con cualquier app; eso lo gestiona Apple según tus ajustes, no nosotros.

Rastreo y publicidad

Marea no te rastrea entre apps ni sitios web, no usa el identificador de publicidad (IDFA) y no muestra anuncios.

Compras

No hay compras dentro de la app. Todo lo que hay en el juego se gana jugando.

Niños

No pedimos edad ni datos personales. Los nombres de capitán pasan un filtro y se puede denunciar y bloquear a otros jugadores desde su ficha en el mar.

Cambios

Si esta política cambia, publicaremos aquí la versión nueva con su fecha.

In short: your game is saved on your phone. When you sail the open sea or play the arena, our server receives your anonymous ID, your captain name and what you do at sea, only to run the game. There are no email accounts, no ads, no tracking and no in-app purchases.

What we collect

When you play in the open sea or the arena, which are shared with other players, the following is sent to our game server:

your game's anonymous ID (a random code created on your phone, not linked to your real name, email or Apple ID);
your captain name, which other players see;
what is needed to play together: your ship's position and state, what you do at sea and your arena rating;
reports you make or receive (who, about whom and why), so we can moderate.

If you sail offline, nothing is sent. We use no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools.

Why and for how long

This data is used only to run the game and keep it free of cheating and abuse: it is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with third parties. The server is hosted by Hetzner (Germany, European Union). Server logs keep your IP address truncated (without its last part) and are deleted after 14 days. Arena ratings and reports are kept while the game runs, linked only to the anonymous ID.

What is stored on your phone

So you can pick up where you left off, the game stores in the app's private storage:

your game: ship, cargo, upgrades, story progress, fish caught and your ship's looks;
the captain name you choose when you enter as a guest;
your settings (sound, graphics quality…);
a random anonymous ID created on your phone, sent to the server only when you play the open sea or the arena.

If you delete your game (Settings › Borrar partida) or the app, all of this is erased from your phone and whatever remains on the server can no longer be linked to you. If you also want your rating and reports deleted from the server, email us with your captain name and we will do it. If iCloud Backup is on, iOS may include these files in your backup, as it does for any app; that is handled by Apple under your settings, not by us.

Tracking and advertising

Marea does not track you across apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and shows no ads.

Purchases

There are no in-app purchases. Everything in the game is earned by playing.

Children

We do not ask for age or personal details. Captain names are filtered, and other players can be reported and blocked from their card at sea.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with its date.
